The Dancing Cat is a local, and well-known, Spanish night club in Barcelona. It is a place where the minor or major performers can shine. Most of the participants of the New Voices Competition usually go there to see the other participants. It appeared in The Cheetah Girls 2.
It has many tables and a space where people can: dance, stand around, or watch the performers on the stage. The club also has a second floor which has a platform and spiral staircase. The small stage has an "L" shape, if looking on from the side, and has rows of lights on the stage's wall. There is a little walkway also for performers.
The Cheetah Girls 2Edit
Joaquin takes the Cheetahs to the Dancing Cat, where all the new artists perform their songs ("Why Wait")("A La Nanita Nana").
There they meet Spanish pop artist Marisol Duran, who will also compete in the Music Festival, and her manager/mother, Lola Duran, who plans a scheme to break up the Cheetah Girls, as they pose a threat to her daughter's chances in the competition, and she starts making Marisol distract Chanel Simmons from The Cheetah Girls.
While they were performing ("Step Up"), Lola convinces the Dancing Cat's manager to pay the Cheetah Girls money. The competition will only allow amateur performs to compete. Accepting payment from the Dancing Cat makes the Cheetah Girls professional performers. Angel, who was present during the entire exchange, investigates.
